Carbon is IBM’s open source design system for products and digital experiences. With the IBM Design Language as its foundation, the system consists of working code, design tools and resources, human interface guidelines, and a vibrant community of contributors.

I developed this style as an extension of our core internal CIO visuals, with the goal of reflecting the external Carbon style created by IDL for IBM's public-facing brand. While inspired by this external design language, the style was crafted to establish its own unique identity and voice, ensuring it remained distinctly recognizable to IBM employees.
